When Sue was a young girl, she wanted to take piano lessons, so my dad found a teacher and she started her lessons. She had to practice a half hour to an hour a day. Her teacher gave her drills and exercises to do to stretch her fingers. I had to go and do something out of the room because I could not stand her repeating over and over again, which is the way to learn. She became a good piano player though. She would play and I would sing. We both would sing. I tried to take piano lessons, but did not care for it. I only took one lesson. Sue has an organ in her house. She plays that when she gets a chance. She enjoyed taking the lessons. She never minded practicing so that she could get better and better. I think she did have one piano recital. Piano lessons are great if you have the interest and the time and will to practice. She would practice every day. She would play chopsticks and many other things. She taught me something on the piano as part of what she was playing. So we had a little duet going. So her piano playing days were a lot of enjoyment for her.
