Valentine’s day occurs in February. It is February 14th. People give special heart cards and other things on this day. A lot of people like to get married or engaged on this day. Kids make special envelopes or boxes and have a party and exchange valentines on this day. There is this little fictional character, by the name of cupid. He has an arrow. He shoots people and this supposedly makes them fall in love. Valentine’s day is 10 days before my wedding anniversary. We did not want to get married this day. We got married 8 days after my husband to be’s birthday. Valentine’s day can be celebrated in many ways. A dinner out is always nice. Chocolate, heart shaped candy and flowers are the typical Valentin’s day gifts. There are also message heart candies that are good as well. Valentine’s day cards are in many different categories. there are Husband/Wife cards, sister cards, brother cards and cards to parents and grand parents. It is a nice day of the year if you have people to share it with.
