There are 7 days in a week. Some people say the week runs like this, Sunday, Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday, Friday, Saturday. A business week usually is Monday-Friday, and then the weekend, Saturday and Sunday. Saturday and Sunday are usually days to get over the week days, unless you work weekends. These days are family and friend days. The week can be very busy for people, so they need the weekend to get over it. Some of our holidas are weekdays. Thanksgiving is always on a Thursday. Other holidays, such as Christmas change with the current year. New year’s is always one week after Christmas. The holidays usually follow in order of week days from year to year. Leap year occurs every 4 years, the same as the presidential election. If you have a holiday for example on a monday , it would be in order until leapyear. 2008 was our last leap year. 2012 will be the next one. The summer olympics falls every 4 years also. Winter games come in between.
