Celebrities come in many different categories. Sports figures, Actors, Actresses. These are among some of the celebrities out there. There are also auto racers and People in politics and some times Teachers, who have written books. I always thought actors and actreeses were among the top celebrities. When I was a kid, it seemed to me if you were an actor or actress you must have had lots of money. They always showed it that way on T. V. Celebrities can bring large crowds to places that they go. they show up at premieres for an upcoming movie and other places as well. Celebrities can also be small town heros. People who have done some thing great to help others are also called celebrities. Celebrities can also be famous authors. Celebrities can help charities bring in lots of funds needed to help others. celebrities do endorsements for products, also called commercials. There are several celebrities doing commercials who I remember as a young child. Some of my childhood celebrity memories are Lucy, and jeannie and Samantha. I have lots of others I remember. Itwas fun to watch these people in their various shows.
